I’m using ATT Yahoo DSL on my desktop, and had no trouble downloading the Yahoo virus protection. Why can’t I download it on the new laptop with Vista??

don’t worry about using att protection its a joke.
just use the following:
AVG virus
AVG-anti virus this is for spyware
Ad-ware 2007 for malware
zone alarm if you need a fire wall
all are compartiable with Vista
and you can go to p.c world .com and to the downloads all are free
one note just make sure all programs are dated after march 2007 this is the compartiable date.
why not get real virus protection. yahoo doesn’t have any, they contract with nortons.
I agree with globewaesel, try AVG, (free.grisoft.com), it’ has extremely high ratings, barely uses any system processing power, as well being 100 % free
dont waste ur time with that crap buy or get the 90 day trial of windows live one care it works great with vista and is rly easy and fast and doest use up ur cpu like the rest of the programs
Get a real antivirus like Kaspersky, NOD32, or Norton. If you insist on a zero price tag, then go with avast.
run to the nearest tech store and find a new OS….VISTA IS HORRIBLE…..while you are there look in the ad for the latest virus protection…..sometimes you can get it for free with rebate….shop around for the nest deal
