i am a Mircosoft Vista User 32 bit Operating System i have downloaded avg free anti virus protection but for some reason it is not turned on. windows security center says it is not turned on i try and turn on to no avail. Can anyone help me with this problem? and can anyone help me with the Kapersky website its not workingand should i just buy the software instead of using free anti virus software
no i dont not have kapersky i only have avg and windows defender the only problem is the malware protection is not working

    You can not run 2 Anti-virus programs, they will conflict with each other & not run rite. As you are finding out, pick 1 AVG or Kapersky but you can’t have both!

    First off AVG free only offers basic protection and it no longer offers free tech support in the free version. I did find a possible work around into quiting down the windows security center alert about not having malware protection but there is no guarantee that it works or causes more problems. The better option here is get a better anti-virus engine that is also known to cover malware protection as well. I have windows Vista with McAfee Total Protection as my current security program and it runs well with the Vista’s security center so i would recommend using any McAfee program.
