i want to buy an antivirus that is worth buying
i know that there are many antivirus that can be downloaded free that are fake and are actually are viruses
can someone tell me if there are free antivirus tha work that are not those fake ones that are actually virusus

I recommend buying antivirus. There are true free antivirus programs – Avast, Clamwin, but paid antivirus has real-time scanning which will find threats when they appear, free scanners only find threats when you manually run them. Try Ad-Aware (www.lavasoft.com). Ad-Aware is about $50.00.

imho some free programs are better than most if not all paid for ones.
I can recommend ‘comodo internet security’ it is a dual antivirus and firewall, works VERY well and is free.

I use AVAST!. its free and it updates it self. If you could i would say try the pro version as its cheap but the free version is great. That only takes care of virus though.
super antispyware is the spyware version of avast. free and a great spyware scanner.
