It keeps growing in my pc, although it deleted everyday.
is there some way that i can reboot my computer without a disk…like from the boot menu??

my computer keeps popping up as infected….it is telling me to buy Eco anti virus witch i know is a scam. how do i remove it myself?
Im talking about removing a trojan horse, not a scan to tell me i have one (which is already obvious as my computer barely works) and so i dont have to pay on all sorts of cards etc? If you could link me to one that works you will seriously be my hero so please help

I have a Trojan viruses or some… and someone suggested using spybot s&D for destroying it … but how do i do that? HOw do i remove the virus completely

My computer has been infected by a trojan virus called infostealer.lineage. I can’t seem to get it off my computer, i’ve tried using Norton and Trend Micro, Ad-Aware SE, Spy Bot, Windows Defender, AVG Anti-Spyware and I still can’t seem to get rid of it. A message keeps popping up saying my computer has been infected by a trojan virus, but when i try to get rid of it, none of my anti-virus programs can seem to detect or get rid of it. If anyone knows how to properly remove it from my computer please let me know!!
I used my three recovery CD’s I had made a year ago and re-did everything. I ran AVG, Norton, and several other anti-virus programs. Here is what is going on: From my Yahoo main page, I do a search. On the search results page, EVERY search result is a re-direct to buy junk or fake anti-spyware programs! When I have Google search as main page, this doesn’t happen. I can’t find any original discs, just my three recovery discs. Those took 2 1/2 hours to re-do the hard drive! I thought that would take care of it. Okay, DON’T click on this or cut and paste it: http://rds.yahoo.com/*bleep* is what is the problem. That "bleep" is a bunch of letters and numbers that re-direct Yahoo search to send me to a website to sell me junk. This virus/adware program seems to be the only one left on my computer. FIVE anti-virus sites have failed, and three recovery discs have failed, and I can’t find any original software for my HP Pavilion laptop (bought in 2006). Ideas??
By the way, I did ALL of the anti-virus stuff in Normal mode AND safe modes.
Can anyone recommend a free anti-virus and/or spyware protection to download from a safe reliable source on the internet? So far I’ve had no luck…I get stuck with the ones that say "Free!" But then you download a huge program onto your machine, then run a virus scan, then, the results to tell you how many errors/viruses/spyware you have, but THEN you have to PAY to actually have th program FIX it! That is enough to make me really MAAAAD! lol
A couple of years ago, a friend had mentioned a very goos free anti-virus to me, unfortunately I am at a loss as to what it was called or where to find it! From what I heard at the time, it was much better than anything that you could even BUY. I believe it was a German/English website (if memory serves me correctly)
So if that sounds familiar to anyone, please help! If not that one in particular, I am willing to try anything that has a good reputation, and a tried and true track record.

what is the difference between a virus and a trojan? i have mcafee and malwarebytes will these remove a trojan?
Because i just had to restore my computer to en earlier point, because i had a fake virus software on here saying i had viruses blah blah, you know. And i couldn’t take it off. So i had to go back a few days? trend micro should of worked though right ?
Please help me, my sister was using my computer and now it seems like it has a virus / spyware or whatever it is and its really annoying and I’m scared it might have stolen some of my passwords.
It is called av.exe – thats what appears on my task manager. I looked up some pages that say that help remove it but all of them imply downloading something and when i try to download it, it seems a bit too suspicious, like another spyware.
