Every time I launch my browser (I have 2, IE and Mozilla) and I keep rescanning with my Anti Virus, but I need to go on my browser so I get reinfected again…What should I do?
I have Window XP home edition Service Pack 2…
I don’t have an Anti-virus software installed in my computer. That’s because I’ve upgraded to Common Sense 2009. Why buy pricey anti-virus softwares when you can use your brain! That’s right, If you actually put your mind into removing any virus from your computer you’ll realize it wasn’t that hard. All you’d need to successfully run Common Sense in your computer are:
1. Google
2. A brain
3. Internet access.
Why settle for crappy software that tend to scare the shit out of you and annoy you when you can easily notice when you’re computer is slowing up and acting strangely run diagnostics on it and presto. You’ve successfully used Common Sense 2009.
Which anti-virus software do you guys use?
I bought this software when I got my new laptop and now I want to install it on my sons new laptop. I think I am allowed 3 installs but I tossed the box so I am guessing at three..help!
I have an HP Omnibook 6100 with Windows 2000 on it which needs a reboot disc (due to virus damage), new LCD display bulb and probably upgrades to the memory and speed. I bought it for 0 from a friend about a year ago and only got about 2 months solid use out of it before it quit on me. Should I pay for the list of things above or just go ahead and buy a new one?
My computer just detected a trojan virus. I am using AVG Professional Edition and it said it has deleted the virus. I’m just not that sure though, as I have deleted the same virus a couple of months ago. Can you recommend an effective trojan virus remover? Please include the website. Thank you so much. ![]()
And where is the nearest place that I can get it coming from San leandro. Office space doesn’t carry any nor does Best buy. Please respond asap.
My nieces laptop has a problem, when she tries to start it, it comes up with "COMPAC" in the middle of the screen as its meant to, it then shows "F12 Boot" then the screen goes blank for a moment, it then comes up with "windows/system32/config/system" it then shows, you can attempt to repair this sytem using the original windows disc.
The problem is, her mum and dad don’t have the original disc, and are more than likely not going to get it either, as the bloke they bought the laptop from, has since died, anyone got any ideas as to how they can get the laptop up and running again without the original disc, and could it be a virus that has caused this.
Somehow Windows PC Defender Virus got into my computer. It’s blocked all my anti-virus programs from working. I’ve tried downloading Spyware Doctor, but it wouldn’t even let me open that. I do not know how to remove it manually. Does anyone have any other programs that will help me remove this virus? Please help!
Should I buy a anti virus software for my Mac?
If so…which one?
My kid’s laptop(that I bought used from a pawn) a dell insprion or something like that, keeps restarting over and over again before it loads windows. I tried to go to safe mode and system restore but it doesn’t work.
The computer came with an expensive anti-virus program which I thought would be impervius to whatever sites she goes to; facebook, myspace and some other online chatter thing.
I’ve contacted dell but it’s going to take 10 days to do a change of ownership. Is there something I can do to get the thing going again without waiting for, or having to buy the recovery disks? thanks.
I bought a new laptop with windows vista.I am using windows firewall and have norton internet securty 2007 working on it.I scan my pc regularly with norton scan and windows defender. However i just wanna know if this is enough to be safe or do i need anymore protection to keep my pc safe from virus, spyware and hackers.
I have a virus on the computer I am using and I just bought this laptop but when I connected online with my new laptop it got viruses right away and I didn’t even download anything I went to 5 very secure websites like google, facebook, yahoo, hotmail, And I accidently went to watch-movies((((.com)))) instead of watch-movies((((.net))))…
(That could had given me the virus)
But is there any chance that the virus got from this computer to my laptop?
Or is there a virus in my router… Is that possible?
I don’t know anything about computers…
I was getting nfl scores today on my pc and when I came back this afternoon this spyware or whatever it was had infected my pc. Need help anything you can provide is greatly appreciated. Tried system restore and no luck.
every site I try wants money after download
how to remove this virus from the pc?
if we download or install an antivirus after the pc has been affected by virus, will the virus get stored again while scanning files?
Why is it that when you buy an anti-virus software, download it, and after a few months you have to buy it again?
Is there any anti-virus software that doesn’t do that?
What about the ones that came with your computer? They said you need to buy it but you don’t know where to find the promotional code because it came with the computer.
I’m getting ready to buy another antivirus software…I have been using Norton….is this the best software? I need to know right away.
Should I save money to buy an iPod or a Mac Laptop first? I am 15 years old, but next year I will be attended community college because I already have my high school credits. My parents have a home computer, but its slowly dying because of Viruses. I don’t have a job, but I used to so I have managed to save money, so should I keep saving for the Mac or go ahead and buy the iPod since I already have the money. I have really been wanting an iPod, but when my parents said they don’t want us (the kids) on the computer because of viruses…that kind of distorted my plan a bit. Any suggestions???
*My dad is a computer scientist, he is doing all he can to fix the computer, something just went wrong with it*
I have a virus on my computer called "Trojan.Brisv.A!inf"
And my Internet security says it requires manual removal. How do I manual Remove it?
And it says the risk is high. What could happen to my computer?
I haven’t noticed any problems yet…but what are the risks? And what should I do?
How do you delete a virus or piece of software manually if you know the name of it?
How would you remove it if it keeps saying access denied!
I have bought the Norton Virus Protection package and it says it is good for 3 computers. Now that I’ve downloaded it on one computer with the product key, how do I use the product key and install it on another computer?
Can someone tell me which program to buy as well for my pc?
I can’t remember many details, it’s a very strange and dark film. The main character is a white male, around 30 – he becomes very paranoid of his friend (a black male)… they seem to be trying to get him to take a conformity drug or something. Anyway, at the end of the film the main character ends up with his brain removed to defeat his paranoia and the virus. I thought the main actor was Cillian Murphy, but I can’t see anything on IMDB that correlates to him. Anyone any ideas?

And it’s not 28 Days/Weeks Later… I think it had something like ‘code’ or or something in the title, maybe not though, it’s quite an obscure film, not very widely known about I don’t think.
I want to know about Norton 360.
Not Norton Anti-virus.
Not Norton Internet Security.
