I would like an antivirus software program that is the newest and has the best protection, if possible.
I have the "Windows Antivirus" spyware/virus. The one that has the little caution triangle in the corner and says "Windows has detected spyware infection…"
I did a search on Yahoo! Questions and tried all the suggestions. And so far I have downloaded Ad Aware, Norton, and Super Anti Spyware and none of them got rid of it!
How do I get rid of it? I can’t do anything on my computer with this darn thing on here!!!
I have fedora 10 and vista running on my laptop, and vista has virus. I want to know if there is any way in which i could remove the virus through fedora?
I have a computer science degree and a vision of providing a virus-removal service to local customers. Plenty of home-computer owners are infecting their computers with viruses and spyware every day, and they only need to know that my business exists. How can I effectively advertise to such a market? Do you think such a business is viable, when it targets such a specific service?
Clearly, I have competition from the national guys who provide in-home service. I would distinguish myself by specializing in virus and spyware removal. Also, I would lease an office if this would sufficiently help with perception of legitimacy.
The anti virus software that is being used cannot remove the Trojan virus because it is connected to an unsupported file.
I used to have Norton Antivirus, but my subscription expired. Is it worth it to pay to renew my subscription, or should I just download a freeware antivirus program?

I have a network at work. 2 computers are shared via the Linksys. Both of the computers are wireless. The Microsoft Office 2007 software has been installed on both. I would like to know what is a good virus protection/spyware program i should purchase/try. Please help. Are the free ones just as good as the one i have to purchase? what should i do??

How can I remove a virus that hit my CPU today from some site. It just keeps restarting my computer, and brings up virus remover 2008. And says my computer is infected. Any suggestions or fixes would be amazing. Thank you.
i want to make some extra money. So i decided why not try computer assistance and virus removal because i am good with computers.i plan to set up computers, remove viruses, tune up computers ect. I don’t know where to start. I need help making a good advetisement that protrays that i am good with computers. My only worry is that pleople may not take me serouse because i am young. I have run virus ,adware spyware scans and it is telling me it has cleaned my system.

My PC is booting very slow. Is it required to enable the antivirus software to run during the startup?
I just purchased McAfee Anti Virus program. I’m trying to install it on my computer to remove viruses, but it won’t let me install it unless I uninstall Symantec Anti virus Client. So I tried and it says the netwok resource is unavailable, but the program itself says only 14 mb so I beleive the programs corrupted and infected with a virus that doesn’t want to get deleted. Can I use command, does anybody know how to get rid of this?
I need a very good portable antivirus for windows xp.Virus Removal tools are programs for removing malware. But they don’t have real-time protection, you have to scan your pc first in order to detect malware and then removing them. So I’d like to have different Virus Removal Tools in order to reinforce security.
I recently had a virus in my computer and I got rid of most of the virus. The only thing that is left now is that there is a trojan that keeps redirecting my google pages to different sites. Please, can anyone tell me how to get rid of this trojan because even through the AVG that I downloaded, it still doesn’t find the trojan and my computer is running really slow. Thanks.
My computer was infected with a virus. I believe it is called Spyware.ISpyNow. I do not know how to get rid of it and get my computer back to normal.
My McAfee AntiVirus software won’t let me install Photoshop.

I’ve just read some thread and article says that in their opinion we need some virus removal tool for a better protection. I just want to ask if that is true so. Thanks for your advice!
im looking for a reliable and free virus/spyware scanner for my comp. ive tryed to download other softwares but after the scan it says that i have to buy the soft ware to get rid of the viruses.

How do i completely destroy malware, trojan virus, and other viruses for my laptop, and im looking for something free on the web that will be reliable. There are over 120 viruses, One big mother trojan virus and the others are small babys. so i need heavy duty remover and protection.

My computer at office has viruses like trojan horse, etc. There is no network connection and they are also not providing anti-virus CDs. Though i loaded with AVG, it could not be run for want of registration. Can anyone help me remove the viruses directly by going to the program, rather than using anti-virus CDs
I have had computers for the last 10 years and never used virus protection software. I do use a firewall, but I prefer hardware ones, as stuff like zonealarm just doesn’t work. And as of yet, I have never had a virus/worm/trojan which threatened the data on my PC.
PC World makes out that without McAffee or Norton, you WILL get a virus as SOON as you switch your modem on.
What is the best free virus removal program? I’ve tried 3 different ones these past few days and some of them pick nothing up at all, the others pick TONS of things up and I know they’re there. Which is the best free one to use??
